About Mrs. Jill, The Teacher:

I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in both English and Music from Brigham Young University. I also hold a Teaching Certificate and Reading Endorsement from the State of Arizona. I have been a school teacher for six years, have worked with children of all ages, and am passionate about what I do!

A few years ago, in order to stay home with my children, I decided to open my own preschool. This will be my second year of teaching preschool. I believe preschoolers are excited, enthusiastic learners and that all children can learn successfully. As a teacher, my goals are to instill a lifelong love for learning in the children that I teach and to create confident, young learners who will be better prepared for their future education and can start kindergarten with the tools and skills necessary to be successful.

The integrated, theme-based curriculum uses a hands-on, discovery approach as well as structured activities and scheduling, which will prepare your child to successfully transition and thrive in the kindergarten classroom. The fun, yet challenging curriculum, is designed to help your child grow socially and intellectually and to develop the critical thinking and problem-solving skills they need to succeed in kindergarten and life.

The Parent:

As parents, you play a huge part in your child’s overall learning experience. As you get involved with your child and help them with the daily homework, you will help to reinforce the skills they are learning at KinderPrep, ultimately enabling them to get the most out of their preschool experience.
